-The Washington Post, "Cheney Defends Use Of Four-Letter Word -- Retort to Leahy 'Long Overdue,' He Says," June 26, 2004
We stand for a culture of responsibility in our country. The culture of America is changing from one that has said, if it feels good, do it, and if you've got a problem, blame somebody else, to a culture in which each of us understands we are responsible for the decisions we make in life.

--The New York Times, "In Bush's War Room, the Gloves Are Always Off," July 14, 2004
